Edoardo Lossa S.p.A. was born in 1989 as independent division of Ditta Edoardo Lossa S.p.A., a renown company in the mechanical contractors field, whose origins go back to 1870.
The evolution of technologies, markets, and consequently of the company organization led to the foundation of a group of companies closely linked together but having autonomous missions and management.

"Lossa" operates in the civil ad industrial field, in Italy and abroad, applying the most modern and advanced engineering and contracting techniques in every kind and destination of mechanical and electrical systems.
System engineering and contracting nowadays plays a decisive role in the modern building industry: the needs of comfort in particular for the residential and hotels plants: the up to date air conditioning and energy saving technologies for large communities and transports; the flexibility and the integration with building management systems typical of M & E plants in the office and commercial buildings; the always new exigencies in the hospitals fields and finally, all the requirements arising from many technological processes in the industrial fields, are faced and solved by the technical structure of Lossa trained on the long experience of the different kinds of activity in the civil field the deep knowledge of the industrial one.
The present organization allows Lossa to work with great flexibility in order to adapt to the changing needs of the market demand, benefiting of a first class technical and financial structure, guaranteed by the synergies provided by the Holding company.
The use, during the design and engineering phase, of a modern in-house CAD and integrated techniques as heating, ventilating, air conditioning, hydraulics, electronics, computer science...allows to carry out the realization of a plant - either when fully designed by Lossa, or when the complete project given by a Consultant - with the guarantee that design requirements will be optimized complying with the technical specifications imposed.
Moreover, the recent development of electronic and computer science technologies applied to technical plants, allowed to get a considerable improvement of them, either for the choice of better components, either for the appliance of DDC management systems allowing a more precise conditions control and consequently a better performance of the entire system-plant.
The service that Lossa can offer to its customers is based on the technological cycle of the construction process. A first phase of feasibility study, technical advice, preliminary design essential to evaluate the validity of an initiative from a technical and financial point of view, comparing alternative solutions, is followed by an internal phase of preparation of the contract consisting of executive design, planning, procurement of materials, etc.
During this essential activity, the project is analyzed in all its components: it is the condition for a good management of the contract.
The erection phase is carried out on site by our qualified engineers and specialized foremen under the supervision of our project managers able to coordinate complex activities employing modern planning techniques computer supported.
Under these operatives’ procedures projects are normally executed on a "turn key" basis or, if required by other contractual requirements, in coordination with works executed by others. Subcontracting techniques are used to realize specialized parts of the project, always under direct and responsible Lossa project managers supervision.
The testing and commissioning activity and the construction phase of the plant that is handed over to the customer fitted with a complete set of as built drawings, operating and maintenance manuals, spare parts list, certifications, allowing a perfect running of the plant itself.
Lossa finally offers to the Client an operating and maintenance service, planned and executed by a dedicated structure highly specialized. This activity is not limited to the plants made by Lossa, but reaches also the market of the great public and private works, hospitals, hotels and commercial and industrial buildings.
The operating structure employees the most modern systems for checking up the state f the plants by means of remote control monitoring that guarantee real-time control and command actions over all national territory, interfacing itself with existing building management systems and applies the most modern planned maintenance conceptions, on line assistance and spare parts supply.
Lossa organization is now able to offer to the Clients a high quality service: a Quality system has been recently adopted, complying with European Standards EN 29001.
